We had a great first week! How incredibly lucky we are to have such a great group of learners!
This week, the Tribe spent time getting to know each other and our new environment, chose a mascot and started to settle into their personal spaces, developed a system for taking care of the studio, created a list of class rules to ensure a safe and productive learning environment and began thinking about their goals for the year.
They also began exploring the library, and playing math games on and off the computers. The learners created presentations to ‘Pitch a Fish,’ which ended in a vote for best fish for their studio.
Games that were a big hit in the studio: Reverse Charades, Q-Bitz, & Uno
